“ My parents and I decided to grab lunch and ended up eating at this small, family-owned Korean place called Fly Chicken Fly. When Mom and I walked in, I could tell that this was a well-loved place. The owner, the ajumma, was friendly and kind. We ordered some sweet and spicy wings, fried rice, and a pork cutlet bento box for Dad. The food was DELICIOUS and the perfect portions for lunch. Hot, fresh, and spicy (but not too spicy), and reasonably priced. Masisseoyo (맛있어요). (I forgot to take photos because I was so immersed in EATING the food.) Fly Chicken Fly could be easily called a "hole-in-the-wall" place located in a strip mall. It's not fancy; however, it's so much more. Based upon the large group of regulars at one table and several customers coming in and out to grab take-out and chatting with the owner, this is a local place worth checking out. I also noticed they had different banchans (side dishes) and dduk (Korean rice cakes) to purchase as well. Overall, the next time we are in Clarksville, we will come back. I appreciate that everything was freshly cooked and the reasonable prices when compared to other Korean eateries around this area. I did not have chicken this time but you could certainly smell it in the front as they were preparing other orders during my visit.
